In Memory of Mrs. Cynthia Frank
09.08.1955 ~ 07.22.2012
Parishioner … Graduate … Dedicated Teacher for 35 Years
Mrs. Frank’s dedication to the mission of Fourteen Holy Helpers Parish and School was manifest in her service to the children. In excellence and love, she brought her utmost to her students, inspiring them to grow and become the best students, athletes, citizens, and Christians they could be. She will be remembered always by her students, colleagues, friends, and family as a model of Christian love and professional excellence.
Cindy Frank was a long time junior high mathematics teacher at 14 Holy Helpers School until she lost a short but valiant battle with a very aggressive form of cancer in the summer of 2012. Her 35 year commitment to providing her students the best math foundation possible is being honored not only by this run, but also by the creation of a scholarship fund in her name, as well as a plaque that was dedicated on the day of the inaugural race.
The proceeds from this run will benefit not only the school children and the scholarship fund, but also the Buffalo Hospice Angels Fund, which provided Cindy exceptional care and gave her the opportunity to see her son get married at the Buffalo Hospice facility just days before her passing.
